Generals Tender Great Britain Forward Mason Alderson

The Northeast Generals of the NAHL are excited to announce the tendering of 6’3″ Power Forward Mason Alderson. Alderson is a Senior at Berwick Academy in Maine. In 2019-2020 the Great Britain born Forward put up 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 23 games. Mason was also a standout at the World Juniors for Team Great Britian scoring 3 goals and 5 assists for 8 points in 5 games. He played in the World Junior’s with current Generals Assistant Captain Tyler Cooper (who was Captain of the Great Britain squad).

Mason brings a ton of size, skill and goal scoring ability to the Generals. He has experience on the world stage. In 20 games at the World Juniors (both the U18 and U20 level) Mason has 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points.

“Mason is a great kid that brings a very versatile game to the Generals. He is very big and physical but is a great skater that gets to the net regularly and has a great scoring touch. He has played on the World stage many times and we love that type of experience. And having played with Cooper and having Tyler’s approval on Mason is huge for knowing how he will fit in the locker room and on the ice.” said Generals Head Coach Bryan Erikson.

Erikson continued “He was a monster over in England putting up 71 goals in 32 U18 games before transitioning to Berwick Academy. He is a great young man at a great school that will attract a ton of Division 1 attention. We are really excited to add Mason to the Generals Family.”

The Generals have been busy with tenders early in the process. Mason joins Holderness Forward Jake Waterman, Millbrook Forward Jake Percival, Jr. Admirals Forward Ethan Byrne, U18 Generals Forwards Nick and Tyler Ramm and NA3 Generals D man Tyler Kaminski.
