The Northeast Generals are excited to announce the tendering of standout D man Patrick Geary. The 6’0 right shot D is from Hamburg, NY and has played for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres the past few seasons. In the past 2 years with the Sabres, Patrick has played in 79 games and recorded 12 goals, 43 assists, 55 points and 145 PIM’s.
General Manager Matt Dibble had this to say about the tendering of Patrick “I am thrilled to have Pat tender with the Generals for next year. He was a top recruit for us and I think he will be a huge part of what we are trying to do in Attleboro.”
“He is a strong, skilled defenseman who has high-end offensive ability which allows him to push pace. He is great at getting pucks through from the blue line and distributes picks well to the forwards. On the defensive side, he gas good gap control and has a great first pass.”
“I am looking forward to seeing Pat develop with and compete for the Generals. I think he is a kid that will have tons of Division-I eyes in him early in the year.”
Head Coach Bryan Erikson continued “very excited to announce this tender. Patrick is incredibly skilled and physical. His skating is elite as is his passing and I think his game translates immediately to the junior level. We see Patrick as a guy that can step right in and play big minutes for us right away.”
