Generals Tender Advantage Goalie Bradford

The Generals went back to familiar territory with their latest tender.  Another Lovell Hockey and Boston Advantage standout has agreed to pull on the Generals sweater.  This time the Generals have signed a Goalie in 6’2″ 2002, Connor Bradford.

Bradford, from Kingston, MA, is one of the top 2002 goalies in the Nation and is well regarded in NCAA and NHL circles.  Connor has played his youth hockey with the Boston Advantage and has helped back stop one of the best teams in the nation year in and year out.  His numbers speak for themselves in recent years.  In 2017-18 Connor posted 1.52 gaa and a .923 sv% in 23 games.  2018-19 saw Bradford continue his strong play with at 1.89 gaa and a .936 sv%.

So far in the 2019-2020 season Bradford has helped propel the Advantage a 17-7-2 record behind a 1.48 gaa and a .940 sv%.  Connor has also started one game for the Generals as an affiliate player.  He played very well in his first game in the NAHL turning back 35 of 39 shots faced.

“I have been lucky to watch Connor play for the past 4 years with the Advantage teams Coached by Tim Lovell.  Connor just wins.  He make huge saves and is never out of a play.  Relentless is the best word to describe him.  He played in 1 game for us this year and did a great job.  Enough for us to know that he would make a great addition both off the ice and in the net for us next year.  Connor is an exceptional athlete that gets better every time I see him.  Really excited to sign such a well regarded person and player and continue our mission of creating a team built around local players and ones that come from outstanding organizations such as the Boston Advantage.”   Said Generals GM/Head Coach Bryan Erikson.
