Rich O’Dowd, Director of Operations
Richard O’Dowd, our Director of Operations, has many years of leadership experience in Hockey Administration and is a seasoned IT Professional at a Fortune 200 Company.
Rich has been Vice President and Level Director of the Yankee Conference and Presidents Hockey Leagues. Rich has extensive experience in Hockey League Logistics such as League Marketing, Website Administration, Scheduling, Fund Raising and player recruitment, placement, and retention.
Rich’s years in youth hockey management include:
- League Founder and Director – The Hockey Desk Summer High School League (founded 2011)
- Vice President / Director – Yankee Conference
- Co-League Director – Presidents Hockey League
- Level Director, Conference Rep, ACE Director, Fund Raising Director – Hanover Youth Hockey
- Assistant Coach – Boston Jr Terriers
- Head Coach – Various Hanover Youth Hockey teams
- Sports Management Software and Website Expert
Rich also serves as the Business Process Architect / Practitioner – TJX Companies
- Lean 6 Sigma and ITIL Certified
Richard Jackson, Director Of Logistics
Richard Jackson has been involved with hockey at various levels for the past 40 years, as both a Player and Coach. For the Northeast Generals, he does it all: travel arrangements, billet coordinator, administrative work and numerous other jobs. Rich is a great asset to the organization.
Howard Theberge, Athletic Trainer/Equipment Manager
Matt Atherton, Director of Sales and Marketing
Matt is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Northeast Generals. He grew up playing hockey in Michigan from the age of 4 through Juniors. He has a degree from Western Michigan University in Sales and Business Marketing. He is responsible for the organization and progress of ticket sales, partnership agreements, game-day operations, community involvement and more.
His love of the game is something he wants to share with the community. That is why Matt is committed to building Attleboro, MA into a hockey town.
Lastly, Matt is very handsome and one hell of a guy.
Alice Boushell, Director of Media, Billet Coordinator
Alice is the Director of Media for the Northeast Generals. Alice joins the Generals after coming on as a marketing intern for the 2019-2020 season. She is currently pursuing a Business Management and Marketing degree from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Alice focuses on enhancing the Northeast Generals brand by promoting events, our teams, and most importantly our players across media platforms.
Jason O’Dowd, Equipment Director
Jason O’Dowd enters his 2nd season as the Equipment Director for the Northeast Generals. “Fishie” as he is called does a great job ordering, organizing and maintaining all equipment inventory. The Generals would be lost without his guidance.
